Breakfast Club

 

Ferndown Middle offers a Breakfast club each morning between 7.30am  and 8.30am.It is a fun and sociable environment where pupils enjoy a varied breakfast in the company of other pupils.

This is for pupils across all year groups with a maximum of 30 pupils and will be operated on a first come first served basis.

Details:
Start time: 7.30am (Pupils need to arrive no later than 7.40am and must sign in at reception)
Finish time: 8.30am (Pupils must remain on school grounds once they have left breakfast club)
Cost: £3.50 per breakfast.
Food provided: Selection of cereals, toast, jams, drink, followed by an opportunity to play board/table games.

Booking
Parents need to book and pay one-half term in advance using this Breakfast Club Booking Form. Once the booking forms are completed, we will send you an email of confirmation of your child’s place.

Payment is made by either:

ParentMail – complete the booking form, and the payment item will be created in ParentMail
Bank transfer to account name Castleman Academy Trust – Sort Code 30-80-89; Account no. 34315968, with a reference of ‘FMS & Child’s Name’ – Childcare Vouchers with a reference ‘FMS & Child’s Name’

We recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.

Behaviour expectations

Pupils are expected to be polite and courteous at all times and are expected to follow the same guidelines as documented in the Behaviour and Anti-Bullying policies, which can be found on the school website.

Supervision
Two members of the Ferndown Middle School support staff will supervise the pupils. They both have enhanced DBS clearance, up to date safeguarding training, food hygiene & safety qualified and one is first aid trained. The Breakfast Club operates under the same procedures as Ferndown Middle School regarding first aid, sickness and accident reporting. If your child has a medical condition of which the staff should be aware, or any food allergies, the school will need to be made aware of this on the agreement form. Pupils will remain in the room until 8.30am when they will be dismissed to go to their tutor rooms.
